Progesterone treatment?

Question

Anyone had this following miscarriages? When did you start taking it - before TTC or on BFP? My fertility specialist says I could try it since I’ve had 2 miscarriages if I conceive again but she doesn’t think it will help.
Any side effects?

I've been put on progesterone for my last 3 pregnancies but all 3 ended in miscarriage. To be fair, my first two were blighted ovums. I was put on progesterone AFTER I found out I was pregnant. My third time, I started taking progesterone DURING my ovulation week, and a baby developed and we got to 9 weeks before the heartbeat stopped. SO, my conclusion is that as long as I take the progesterone WHILE I'm ovulating, a baby will develop. Now to help me continue developing the baby, I still need advice from my doctor BUT I think progesterone is a piece of the puzzle for me.

I’ve used it twice. I started mine 4-5 days after ovulation with my first. The second time I started it with my BFP which was prior to my missed period. I had my rainbow baby two years ago and am currently 24+6 pregnant now. I have a progesterone deficiency that was only found through ultrasound during ovulation and it has been a miracle for me. My only side effects were dizziness and fatigue. Good luck to you and baby dust!!
