Friendships ruined out of jealousy
Ok first off I am posting this anonymously because I know that I will probably receive hate for saying this. I am considered very beautiful, by societal standards in America. This is not a bad thing except for the fact that SO MANY GIRLS who I’ve befriended have gone from liking me to hating me out of jealousy as soon as I had my huge glowup two summers ago. And yes- three of my friends straight up told me that being around me makes them feel horrible about themselves. So Im not just blaming appearances on them not wanting to be friends for no reason. Now, whenever I meet girls for the first time, they automatically don’t like me because they are jealous of my appearance and the attention I get from guys, when they should really just be focusing on loving and accepting themselves, and realizing that society shouldn’t dictate whether they are pretty or not. Wtf should I do because now the huge majority of my friends are guys, because girls get so insecure whenever they are around me. It’s not fun to not be able to have girlfriends to go to when I want advice or just to have a girls night. How would you recommend going about this??
