Am I pregnant?

Question

I had sex during ovulation. I didn’t realize until afterwards when I looked on my app. I am on birth control. But I’m still concerned. Should I be concerned?

Answer

Nope. You don’t ovulate on birth control. You essentially don’t have a fertile week either. 
Birth control is highly effective. For example, the pill is 99.7% effective. If you’re consistent with whatever form of birth control you’re on, you’ll be fine. 
I highly recommend adjusting your app’s birth control option to whatever you’re on. For example, I use Glow and I’m on the pill. I don’t have a fertile window or ovulation date anymore.

As long as you take your birth control consistently, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
