So my best friend moved away a few months ago and she’s visiting this week. She’s throwing a pool party and all of her friends are going to be there and it’s going to be super fun! But I’m on my period...I really don’t want to miss it. And I know most of y’all will say to use a tampon or a cup but I only use pads. What should I do? I really don’t want to miss it. By the time the party comes I will be on the 4th day of my period. Usually on my 4th day I still have a consistent flow. Like is it safe to wear a pad in the pool? Please help.

Edit: thanks for the feedback. I do not own tampons or a cup. I don’t feel comfortable using those yet. I probably will just skip it or maybe go and sit on the side lines. It will just be awkward if I go because last time she threw a pool party I swam with everyone. There will also be boys at the party and that will just be awkward. Idk what I’m going to do but thanks for the help.
