Brown spotting

I always spot during my fertile window but this time it was a few more day than usual. Then I spotted nearly a week later with a heavy blood clot and then it stopped. And now about three days before my period, I have brown spotting again that is a little chunky. My boyfriend and I are intimate but we have never had penetrative sex. Only oral, hands, and a bit of genital to genitalia touching and he has never cum near or on my vagina. I’m just scared something is up but I’m also going through a big life change so I’m not sure.
