I’ve been EBF for the last 8 weeks. He had one bottle of breast milk the other day so that we could introduce it. It was fresh, so my sister in law suggested we try a thawed one because some babies don’t like anything but boobie and fresh bottles. My LO luckily took both just fine (yes I cried the first time he had a bottle). I’m building a stash because I’m going back to college soon.

I have a dentist appt tomorrow and it’s about 1.5 hours long. My mom will have my son while I’m getting worked on. I’m thawing some milk in the fridge for tomorrow. I’m wondering how I take it with me? I’ll feed him right before I go in and they suggested not feeding him for a bit after so the Novocain is cleared. The bottle is for during, when my mom is waiting. She had to drive me home too. Do I warm it before I leave the house and put it in the silver lined pocket of my diaper bag? Or do I have to put ice packs in and my mom just run it under hot water once he is hungry?? He’s only eaten from my boob and the bottles were warmed in the bottle warmer.

I feel silly but I honestly have no idea😂
