Anyone else have a c-section and have a really tender stomach? Did your doctor say it was normal?

Normal, just went to my 6 week pp appointment yesterday and asked about it. She told me it will very slowly go away but that I will probably have some tenderness/numbness forever.

It is normal after a c-section. It takes time to heal and hurts a lot while doing so.

4 weeks PP under the belly button still sore, and my crotch under the incision is numb. My gyno says it's normal and healing process looks good

I’m 7 weeks pp and everything under my belly button is still pretty sore. It isn’t as bad as it was though.

3 to 4 months pp your nerves start to grow back. Some spots will remain with no feeling. I'm 1y OP and it's still super sensitive to the touch, almost painful but its "normal"

Yep, mine was tender for quite a while. Almost 2 years later and my incision is still slightly sensitive.
