Stay at home parent?

I see a lot of stay at home moms on here but was curious if you were the working mom and dad was the one who stayed home? If you’re a stay at home mom/dad what does the working parent do? How do you guys make it work? Child care is super expensive in my city so half the time having a parent stay home is the same price or worth it to have a parent stay home.

Just curious and wanted to start a convo! We are TTC but we don’t think we can afford to have a stay at home parent since cost of living is crazy expensive too but luckily we have grandparents who are willing to help!! But boy, would it be nice to be a stay at home mom 🤤
