When do you start buying things for your baby?

I started a private Amazon wishlist right away so I can “shop” for baby without purchasing. I’m also adding the items and products that I learn about when reading mom-blogs. I will make my list public after first trimester and marry it to a baby registry after second trimester. These are exciting times!

I bought a baby blanket the day I found out. Last night I bought 4 outfits and I'm 9 weeks 5 days. I want to be prepared so I'm buying stuff here and there until baby comes.

We don’t have scans in the uk til 12 weeks, so I’m at least waiting until I have a scan til I buy anything! Wanna see the little nugget and make sure everything’s okay first 😊

I'm 6 weeks.. I just bought diapers 2 days ago.. lol.. u can never get enough diapers!

Ill wait until at least 20 weeks to start making a wish list. We don’t have much extra in the budget so I really need to choose wisely what to spend on. I relied heavily on handmedowns we my first baby. If this one is the same gender I won’t need to buy anything.
