Vaginal Ultrasound while on your period?

So, Im in the process to do a cycle with Femara and then IUI. They just told me they can would do a tansvaginal ultrasound on cycle day 2, which would mean they do it with my period! How is that possible?

Been through 3 rounds of ivf so had internal scans a few times🙄 the worst ones are always whilst on your period, as it’s just a little more awkward. Not for them as they’re used to it, so try not to stress too much. Good luck!

They stick a wand inside your vagina... You take out a tampon if wearing one..
