Stopping birth control side effects?

I stopped birth control mid pack because it made me depressed, and it’s been about four days since I stopped it, and I took an ovulation test yesterday and it looked positive? I didn’t fell like I was ovulating though, and then today I got my period. Do you think the test was wrong possibly? Just because the night before I took that test, my husband and I had sex (with a condom used correctly)

It's normal to get a second peak right before your period starts, caused by progesterone dropping.

Can you post a picture of the test? It's entirely possible that it could have been positive but I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

As I understand you get an LH surge before your period so that's normal
