Breastfeeding during FET cycle?

I had my baby last year in August and my husband and I are hoping to do a frozen transfer in December. My clinic doesn't allow us to do a transfer while breastfeeding and it's necessary to stop breastfeeding at least two months before they start the protocol. I'm struggling with this because I want to have another baby so that my baby has a close sibling so I don't want to wait too long, especially since if it's not successful we have to wait a couple months to try again. I also don't want rush weaning before we are ready. I'm heartbroken because they wouldn't even discuss it. We needed

because of my husband having antisperm antibodies but otherwise both of us have no other fertility issues. Any advice? Or experience with this?

I haven’t gone through this yet, but I know my clinic has the same rule. There are so many reasons for this (need your cycle to start if BF is preventing it, want hormones to be more leveled), but most importantly - you’d be attempting to breastfeed while you’re on large amounts of synthetic hormones. It may not even be possible, or it could be bad for your current baby. 
My clinic also recommends waiting until first baby is a year, which seems to be when women typically stop breastfeeding, so maybe that would be an option for you? That’s still decently close in age if you get pregnant right after!

Yes I had to stop breastfeeding before my clinic would start the FET cycle. It makes sense to me because you shouldn’t be taking most meds when breastfeeding. I didn’t even take cold meds when I was breastfeeding because I was so paranoid

My clinic is the same. They don't want to be giving your current child a bunch of hormones through your milk.

Yes yes yes. This is part of the reason we’ve waited so long to try a second cycle. I really struggled with wanting to give my baby a sibling and weaning him before we were both ready.
