Just want to say thank you for the people that helped me out today when I had a mini breakdown

I decided to take my 8 month old a walk down the canal for the first time since moving into the area I was planning on walking into town

It was about 19 degrees and even though I had a sun shade On the pram and my baby had sun cream on he started to get agitated so I carried on speed walking try to get to town ( not realising how far it would be )

I tried toys and bottles but nothing was working so I decided to stop in the shade and give him a cuddle

He’s screaming and I’m literally debating in my head what to do

If I turned back around it would take me 40 mins and if I’d carried on walking to town it would take me about 35 but then I’d have to head on home anyway

I felt like everyone was staring and then this woman came over and helped me and just told me that I’d done everything right and that Babies cry and people know that

We decided the best thing I could do is turn back around because hed be more shaded

It took 40 min roughly and he did still cry but just by talking to someone I felt better so thankyou!!

It makes so much difference if you see someone struggling with a baby to tell them it’s ok

I walked as fast as I could home and ten minutes away from the door

He fell asleep 💤
