When can you hear the heartbeat?

When can you see a heartbeat with a fetal Doppler? I want to get one, but idk how far along I’ll have to be. My doctors appointment isn’t for another week and a half.

I was 10 weeks when I got mine and I found the heartbeat.

I found mine for the first time at exactly 9 weeks. It took me probably half an hour to find it though. I started being able to easily find it around 11 weeks I’d say.

I found it at home with my doppler at 8+1

It can be hard to find the hearbeat with doppler before 16weeks. Many doctors wait until then to prevent unnecessary stress when it cant be found earlier.

My own dr couldn't find it at 10 weeks. I bought a doppler and thought I was finding it because it was higher than my own heartbeat, 126, but I showed it to him and he said nope. He found it using my doppler and it was 147. This happens a lot.
