What to do in a gender reveal?

I have my gender reveal planned out but I’m clueless. Do we have to include games like a baby shower? Favors? I’ve never done this before. 😂 How did you do your reveal?

We’re calling ours a Baby-Q. We’ll have like pink and blue napkins and plates and things but it’s just a casual get together (: (in my opinion)

It’s just a small get together. What I did was invite the family, we cooked hamburgers and then did the gender reveal with the color powder cannon. Nothing crazy, but it was fun

We just went out for a meal with close family the afterwards we popped a giant balloon

We’re having ours this Saturday, pretty much like everyone else said keeping it pretty casual. Having family and friends over in our backyard with bbq. Then we’re doing the powder cannons. We’ll also have pins that say team boy or team girl so everyone can wear their guess.

My family would just wear either blue or pink and it was more of a get together, they ate and finally we did the cannons.
