OK so I hate this stupid ring, I’m on my second month and I’m getting a flurry of hormonal symptoms similar to the ones that made me stop using hormonal BC before. I just want to take the damn thing out already... my boyfriend and I had sex last night and he did finish in me. I want to take the ring out today but I just want to make sure I’m still covered for as long as the sperm is living in my body (I know it’s only a couple of days).

I didn’t have my period this past month (it was due a week ago) so I’m guessing my ovulation has already been suppressed by the ring, and my next fertile window would be starting next week if I returned to normal ovulation. So I’m guessing I’m fine, but I’ve also heard that taking the ring out can restart your cycle and that it’s possible I may ovulate on track again… I’m just not 100% sure what to do. I put in a call to my doctor but I haven’t heard back yet. Just wondering if anyone had any insight
