Signs of pregnancy on birth control?

Hey guys,
I’m on aviane and I usually just have a one day period. Today is Thursday and no luck. (I’m on my placebo pills but I don’t take them) I’m getting nervous even though I’ve been on for almost a year. What are the signs of pregnancy on birth control and should I start back taking my placebo pills?

One of the ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can result in little to no bleeding. So, as long as ur taking all the active pills properly/consistently (including starting new packs on time), then chances of pregnancy are extremely slim. And, again, as long as ur able to remember to start new packs on time, there’s no need to take the placebo pills, as they’re just sugar pills & are basically there to keep u in the habit of taking a pill everyday.
