My baby is 3 weeks tomorrow. I have been breast feeding. Can I also give my baby cow & gate formula which is a substitute for breast milk to help fill her up?

She is cluster feeding every hour most of the day & I can’t get anything done. Could I maybe give her 1 already steralised cow & gate breast milk substitite inbetween to try to fill her up a bit?

i went through cluster feed and i mixed between breast and formula so you do what you feel is right mama, remember a healthy mama is a healthy baby dont over do it or feel guilty just because you would like a break.

It’s normal for her to cluster feed right now because she is going through a growth spurt at 3 weeks. Please don’t supplement. It will affect your milk supply. What is not taken out will eventually go away. You can do it mama. Just stick with it. I just went through this last week. My daughter is now 4 weeks. Maybe you can get some extra help from relatives or friends during this time?
