I recently just finished my first birth control pack (Taytulla brand) and I’m on my second placebo pill. my period started this morning and has been fairly usual.

The past couple of days I’ve had discharge that’s been brown/deep brown in color that is not normal for me personally, but I figured with the new hormones it’s possible for differences in my cycle and thought nothing of it. It wasn’t spotting btw.

Well, this morning I had an extra weird discharge that was a lot thicker in appearance AFTER I started my period. I thought nothing of it again. Then, just a few minutes ago another bigger batch of it came out of me. I want to think it’s just mucus that’s changing due to me starting birth control but I want a second opinion.
