Baby stopped sleeping through the night 😭
For a while my son did a great job sleeping from about 10 pm to 7 am and I totally thought we had this figured out. Except now for at least a month he has pretty much woken up at least once or twice, often more times, every. single. night. And he won’t fall asleep again unless I nurse him. At first I thought it was because it was really hot (might just need to nurse because he is thirsty). Then he was sick (nobody sleeps well when they have a cough, plus it makes sense that you would want a drink). Now I’m telling myself it’s because he started daycare and he is processing it and wants extra closeness. I’m starting to think I will always find a reason to rationalize it and tell myself it’s temporary. Do I need to accept that maybe this is not temporary? Did anyone else’s baby stop being a good sleeper around 5-6 months? With my first once she was a good sleeper she stayed that way. 🤷🏼♀️
Haven’t even tried to move him to his room yet or to do some more intense sleep training (other than routine, fan, etc.) because I keep telling myself it’s just that he needs me more temporarily and how could I take that from him? But I’m so tired and my boobs hurt from all the nursing. Feels like the first few weeks all over again. 🙈
