Hey ladies. I'n having a hard time deciding what to do with my career. I am a nurse. For the last 2 years I have been a school nurse. I have a 6yr old and 8 yr old so it worked well with their schedule. Now I have a baby so if I go back to the school I would have to pay for daycare which is a huge chunk of my salary.

I've also applied to go back to maternity at the hospital I used to work at. 7p to 7a. Pay is great but I have weekend and holiday requirements and I'd probably miss Cubs scouts and sport events with my older 2 plus bedtime and I would maybe see them for a min before the bus came. But minimal childcare would be needed.

3rd option is doing homecare through Medicaid. You work with the parents to make your schedule so I would only work when I want to. Pay is decent. But I've never worked in people's homes before and I'm not sure how that would be.

Which would you pick if you had the choice?
