Hi ladies! I’m preparing to start my <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> journey and I’m seeing a lot of conflicting things about the egg retrieval process. I’ve read that light sedation during egg retrieval is normal, but at my fertility clinic they only provide Xanax, which seems insane to me.

How many of you were sedated? If you weren’t sedated, what was the process like?

I’m trying to figure out if I’m being a baby or if this is normal. It’s a very prestigious fertility clinic with great results and I love the doctor but something about this feels off to me.
