Why breastfeeding is important to you?

Because I value the benefits to my child, I like the bond we have as a result, it's free so one less thing off my bills, and it's convenient . 
I think every mum does what's best for their baby in their situation and what works for them.  I choose breastfeeding doesn't make me a better mum. It's just my choice.

Because I feel it’s one of the best things I can do for my child as her mother and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do it. It’s also the biological norm. Mammals are designed to nurse their young. Dogs, cats, monkeys, etc wouldn’t even think twice about feeding their babies the way nature intended. 
Im grateful that we live in a world where there is another option so babies have don’t have to starve but breastmilk will always be the best option for my family.

My body will make changes according to my baby’s needs, if he’s growing or is sick the milk will change. And it’s super convenient to always have food in my boobs ready to go 😂

The nutrients you provide your baby is specifically for them. Your breastmilk can add specific nutrients they need if they are getting sick, lacking, etc as they grow your body adjusts. That's why I'm breast feeding. If I can give my baby all nutrients without knowing and my body naturally knows itll help me avoid any sicknesses I wouldnt have seen coming

Knowing that it is hard and I have pushed through it. Also it is one of the for sure ways I can comfort my high needs child.

As the other ladies said, the fact that it gives your baby exactly what he needs, when he needs it. It adapts depending on the day, time of year etc. and helps build immunity and therefore it means I’m giving him the best start. Someone else mentioned pride and I have to agree - I feel great knowing that I stuck with it! It’s also more convenient that bottle feeding - no bottles to serialise or heat up etc. It’s also great bonding time with baby too.
