I had my anatomy scan today but had a horrible doctor and nurse. The nurse was very rude and refused to let me take a photo to send to my husband who is out of the country.

she also left me on the table exposed while she went to go get the doctor. i was lying like this for more than 5 minutes wondering what was going on.

The doctor finally appeared, didn’t even greet me and then started the scan. And then throughout the scan he simply stated medical things to the nurse to note down. After about 5-7 minutes of this he said okay everything looks fine and then just left. I thought he or he nurse would at least explain what was going on but I guess they were too busy and I wasn’t worth their time?

I didn’t even get to enjoy seeing the baby move around at all. I have no idea what they were checking for or what any of the terms meant. Don’t doctors usually tell you what they are doing or looking at? I wanted to know gender they didn’t even ask me or show me.

it was a sad experience and I’m now worrying about later stages and if I’m going to have to deliver surrounded by cold uncaring people. Is this normal procedure? This is my first pregnancy to make it this far and I really am clueless and disheartened. 😩😢
