Hospital or birthing centers. Why? Opinions?

Home birth with a medical board approved midwife. Why? Because you are not treated like a number but like a human being, you are in your own environment so you are more relaxed, you don't have to adjust to hospital rules or other people around you. Bonus for me: our daughter gets to be with me when I give birth and she really wants to be there.

Hospital births here is most likely what would be seen as a birthing center in the US. As it’s midwifes that does the delivery. So I’m whatever option fits that.

idk why everyone seems to think in the us if you have a midwife you'll be at a birth center. alot of midwives including mine have the same if not more schooling and qualifications as an ob but practice as a midwife.  midwives in the us deliver babies in hospital all the time
