Waiting...

Ali

While I'm enjoying my "rest month" filled with hard core workouts and wine, I'm ready to get this party started! 10 days never felt so long and that's just to start BC. What are you guys doing to keep sane?

Honestly, the waiting is the worst! I've been trying to get to the gym, listening to a lot of audiobooks, cleaning the house. My toddler is a great distraction too, although he counteracts the whole "cleaning the house" thing. What have you been doing? Anything exciting?

Ouch! That sounds incredibly painful!

I wish I could run. It used to be my thing. Mostly half-marathons because I'm structurally unsound and hurt myself if I try to train for anything longer. Then I tore the meniscus around a vertebra in my lower back and running is completely out :( so hard to handle when it was my main stress relief.

Haha sounds like me! More running and cycling, and also lots of work projects to try to pass them time. Added benefit of being in a good position (physically and at my job) so that I can ease off a little after the transfer. Time is going fast but also so slow!

It’s the only thing I’ve found will help with my metal health. The anxiety creeps in if I have too much down-time!

Glad I'm not the only one using "rest time" to work my butt off. Lol!
