Q for vegan/vegetarian mommas...

Hey ladies. 👋🏻 Have you managed to maintain your diet this pregnancy?

I was a long term lacto-vegetarian before getting pregnant. I’ve been vegan for years in the past too and would say my diet was 4 days a week vegan.

However, since I got to about 16.5 weeks, I couldn’t satisfy myself with this diet any more. Something felt ‘off’ and I felt my body pushing me to eat eggs. I even tried fish once, but I’ve found that eggs are enough for me to keep this urge satisfied. So now I’m lacto-ovo-vegetarian.

I was wondering how other vegan or vegetarian mommas have been doing so far? Have you felt your bodies pushing onto other foods? Or are you just doing fine on your pre-pregnancy diet? 🙃
