It really depends on what your talking about. If I mad 5 years of wonderful memories with my husband than found out he had a 5 year affair that bad memory of his affair would forever ruin any good memories we mad during that time.

It depend, really. If the bad memory is say a disagreement that led to a date being cancelled then sure, if the bad memory was him beating you then no.

I mean not something like cheating but a bad fight could easily be over ridden by years of love
