Do you wake your babies up for feedings?

My little one (10 weeks old) starts sleeping longer stretches during night - last night it was even 7h. Usually after 5h w/o feeding my breasts get sore and full and I need to empty them. Do you wake up your babies, wait till they wake up or pump?

Never wake a sleeping baby ... I usually pump during the night now that my little one is sleeping long stretches ... I pump not til empty just a quick 5-7 min to feel relief and get about a bottle worth ... always like to be ready to go if she needs to nurse ...

I don’t wake mine at night. I’d say hand express in the middle of the night so you’re not uncomfortable and enjoy more sleep 🤗

Our pediatrician told us to let breastfed LO only get 1 stretch of 5hr from last feeding to the next at night (e.g. bottle at 9.30pm then must wake to nurse at 2.30am). Then to let her have 1 stretch of 4hr. During the day, no more than 3hrs between feedings. She said to maintain this schedule until LO reaches 3mo.

As long as they are gaining weight don’t wake them. I would pump if you get that uncomfortable.

We haven't woken my son up ever, I woke up sore a few nights and pumped a little to relieve myself and then went back to sleep. My bodies regulated now and we all sleep 6-7 hours at night!

I don't wake my baby. If I feel to uncomfortable I use Haaka to take out some of the milk
