Anyone else a stay at home mum?

Question

I love staying at home to be with my boys but occasionally I feel like maybe I’m just a bit lazy for not working and that people think badly of me for not having a job. I was a teacher before having my children but decided not to go back to work when we moved away. Does anyone else feel like this? Am I just being ridiculous? Do be honest.

I’m a SAHM and I can guarantee people judge me for it, but that’s their problem, not mine. 
Doing the right thing for MY family is far more important to me than the opinions of outsiders.

And i do have a job we all do we have the best job there is reasing our kids
And I honestly don't give af about what other people think🤣
I don't judge the moms that work and bring their kids elsewhere so nobody should judge me live and  let live😞

I feel the same sometimes too, especially when I’m not able to get things done during the day

The only ppl that judge me are my in laws 😂 and that’s cause they wished I work so my husband can properly “take care of” his mother who is not that old but doesn’t want to work

I feel the same some days. I was in school for 7 years to earn a doctorate degree and only worked for 8 months before having our son and decided not to go back (for now). I did recently pick up a PRN job so I can work occasionally but I still say no a lot because when I am working I feel like I’m missing out at home. I definitely get judged by my “friends” I went to school with, but they’ll understand some day.

I'm jealous of you stay at home moms!  I have to work mon-fri 8-5 and I miss soooo much time with my son.  Wish I could go part time or just quit but not possible for my family.

Sometimes I feel judged. With my first I was still in school and I had to go back right away in order to graduate on time. And class time on top of studying was like a full time job. 
Before I had my second baby, I had 2 miscarriages. So when i finally got pregnant again and my  son was born alive and healthy, I felt so blessed and I wanted to cherish as much time as I could with him. So I don’t care if people judge me negatively for being a SAHM especially due to my past circumstances. I have been home for 9 months now and going back to school again full time in 2 weeks for my masters. I delayed this to spend time with my son and I have no regrets. It’s by no means been easy though. So I have no clue why people think being a SAHM is the easy way out. 
I’m also pregnant again due in April lol so I have to see how this pregnancy goes and how long I’ll stay home...

I have these thought as well! I often feel totally judged for staying home. I’ll be honest it has been so hard giving up working. My son is thriving staying home with me though and that’s all I can ask for.

I stay home with my 2 boys 3.5 and 9 months. I did work for a bit with my first son. Staying at home is the hardest job with no break but I love it and know it works for our family. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever work again. My husband travels and works very hours to provide for us so my job is the house and children. I have friends who stay home, who work part time and some who work full time. As moms we are all just trying to do the best we can and making it work. No judgement here on what works best for each momma/family.
