I’m on the combination pill (Estarylla) and for the most part I take it perfectly (within 2-3 hrs). My boyfriend and I also use the withdraw method every time. I’ve been on the pill for 1.5 years.

For the past week or two I’ve been having lower back pain similar to when I’m about to start my period. No other symptoms.

I had sex with my boyfriend two weeks ago and exactly 7 days after that I was 19 hours late taking my pill. This was during the second week of my pill pack.

I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday and it was negative but I know that it would be too soon to tell if I got pregnant from the last time I had sex. I’m really just wondering if I should be worried or not. I know I shouldn’t because I’m on birth control and I use backup but I only ever get lower back pain like this before my period and that’s not supposed to start until next week. I never have any symptoms while on my active pills so I’m scared.
