I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 3 months and he’s always been less affectionate than my exes (probably because they were teen boys who were “infatuated” with a dumb teen girl) but recently it feels like he’s pulled away.

I even asked him if he still wanted to be with me and he said he “wasn’t going to answer that”. Maybe I’m being pessimistic and cynical but I feel like that indicated a “no”

Idk what to do. Thoughts, advice, judgement, hate? Help

Update: I talked to him about it and he said he’s trying to protect himself because his last relationship ended pretty badly and left him in a really bad place. I can understand that, I wasn’t planning on dating again for a while after my last relationship but I changed my mind with him. Thank you for all the advice and comments, y’all have been very helpful and are probably gonna facepalm but I’m gonna keep trying with him. It’s different from my past relationships and maybe it’s what we both need.
