Years ago I met this guy and became friends with him. He tried to get with me romantically back then and I wasn’t interested so then I introduced my best girl friend to our friendship and we all did everything together.

Then he ended up dating her for a couple years and I kind of removed myself.

Now they have been broken up a couple years and he and I went out and had dinner tonight. As friends. But now I’m sort of interested in him since my taste in men has gotten better than what it was when I was younger.

We went to dinner and ice cream and he made reservations and he paid for my foods even though I insisted I pay for mine.

He didn’t expect anything in return, but what do I do?

Should I ask him if he is interested? But even then I feel weird because he dated my OLD best friend and was sexually involved with her.

Just curious how I could move past that and to see if he is still interested in me now maybe. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙃
