For those saying teens arent "responsible enough" I just can't help but laugh and wonder at the same time what kind of teens y'all have been around. I'd take mine every night before bed, and my sister would take hers every morning while she took her vitamins and did her facial routine. Even if OP, or ANYBODY, couldn't remember every day by themselves, it really isn't hard to set an alarm one time and have it repeat daily. 
Parents, and people in general, keep dumbing stuff down for the newer generations and its making them f*cking stupid. My 17y.o SIL and almost all if her friends don't know how to/cant make their own food or use a washer+dryer, or even put dishes in the dishwasher properly because people like those who say "teens arent responsible enough to take oral birth control" and things of the likeness. 
People learn responsibility, and if they haven't learned how to be responsible by the time they're a teenager, I think something is seriously wrong with that picture.

I used the pill as a teen and it definitely works when taken properly but it is also easy to forget . I would suggest something that is more easily maintained.

Pill because sadly the other options personally have to many risks but I also believe with teaching them natural family planning method as well because knowing there bodies prior to sex is best to avoid unplanned pregnancies I don’t think they should rely on one method of
Course it should be combined with education ( non biased ) with a form of female contraception and male contraception because if you just think the pill iud or depo or
Nexplanon will work your wrong my cousin has ended up pregnant on the iud 3 times one cousin on the pill ended up pregnant my mom ended up pregnant with me on depo so it’s not 100% even if you use it correctly so by combining all three will lessen the chances

I say pill. When I was a teen my hormones were all over the place and it was nice I could try out different pills before finding one my body liked. Also, it’s helped the best with acne. I get it, teens can be forgetful, but, I still feel this is best overall.
