My son is a month old today 💙. I'm ebf and have noticed/felt like something had been slightly off these past couple of weeks

-Eating 40 plus minutes each feed

-Falling asleep during every feed unable to stay awake no matter what i do

-Always eating every hour

-No naps but clearly tired

-Always unhappy unless eating

-nipple & breast soreness

-very short breaks between feeds usually >1hr

So after a lot of google searches && asking all of your opinions i felt like maybe he had a lip tie so i called the pediatrician an made an appointment to see the dr. well the pediatrician didn't really have a yes or no answer for me but did end up referring me to an ENT plastic surgeon && it turns out along with a pretty bad lip tie my son had a tounge tie too! He cut them both and now it's like i have a whole new baby!! I'm so happy its unreal & honestly proud of myself for finding out what was wrong with baby.. before i felt like i was doing something wrong an as though i wasn't good enough for my Baby. Now i have confidence in myself and my instincts and my baby is happy and content. So to all you mommies out there, trust your self and seek help if you think something is wrong because usually mommy does know best! ❤💙 and a great big ty to this community for your support during this process!!
