Has anybody gotten their hair dyed professionally when they’re pregnant?

Yes, as long as u r in a good ventilated salon, its fine 😊

Yep! I got my hair fully lightened. I’m a hairstylist, it’s not a problem. The only issue would be if the salon was not properly ventilated, and you were directly breathing in fumes for hours.

Thanks for asking this! Everyone keeps saying its ok but when I asked my obgyn she said she doesn’t recommend it. I like keeping my hair blonde and I know there’s strong chemicals.

I’ve always had my hair done throughout my whole pregnancy. And, I’ve never had any issues. I have always let my hair dressers know and none of them have ever had a problem. But, it’s good to keep them in the loop in case if allergies or the need for proper ventilation.
I say, go for it!
