How did you feel 2 months postpartum? Ready to travel?

I’m currently ttc, but I have a question for you first time mamas! How soon after you gave birth did you feel ready to travel? 
I live in a different country then my family, and I want my family to be able to meet my baby as soon as possible but I also want to make sure I’ll feel comfortable being a first time mom and with my baby.
So any advice on when a good time to travel would be for me?

I felt more ready at 3 months, but 2 months could be doable.
But it will honestly depend on the birth and your child 😅

I'm not sure where you are and where your family is but international travel is not recommended until the baby is at least 1. I would highly recommend disuccusing this with the pediatrician prior to making any travel plans.

You might feel ready after a month or 2 but do you want to take your baby on a plane? I would talk to a pediatrician about this. Babies don’t have strong immune systems and planes are FULL of germs that you can’t avoid. When you announce your pregnancy maybe let your family know that you desperately want them to meet the baby but you’ll only be able to travel after the baby is X months old or they can come visit you. People love an excuse to travel and seeing a new baby is a great reason.

I’m 4 months post partum and have only been feeling ready now to travel.
My baby is s bit difficult to manage though so I’ll leave it a while longer
