OK, my boyfriend is much older than me (14 years) so he is financially stable and has a good career. I'm in my 20's and still struggling to get a job. Whenever I have a job interview and tell him about it, he would say 'babe, just put in mind that you probably won't get it'. He puts me down and discourage me for anything. It's not like he is better we both have degrees and educated but always shows me that I'm not good enough. I'm currently applying for grad schools as well, and I'm applying for the best schools in the UK and he tells me: don't aim too high.

I don't get it

Any advice on how to deal with this?
