RIP my sweet Zelda Mae Long ❤
It was with the heaviest heart that I say this. I was admitted Thursday morning at 10am for having contractions and in labor. After several interventions, we finally got them to stop. The baby was checked on frequently and she was ok. No placenta issues, she was alive and well and not a thing wrong with her. There was no reason to explain the contractions or cervix dilation or me passing massive blood clots along with losing a lot of blood.
On Friday, while his parents were visiting me at 3:30pm, my contractions started again. This time, they couldn't be stopped. We were preparing for the worst. On Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:40pm, my water broke at 16 weeks and I delivered my beautiful baby girl. She was still alive when she was born so I held her close to me and held her tiny hand with my finger tip as she died in my arms 51 minutes later. I didn't want her to feel alone. I was rushed to OR because the placenta wasn't coming out. I'm currently in the ICU recovering and forced to make decisions I never thought I'd never I'd ever make in my lifetime, like choosing funeral home arrangements.
I ask you for support, positive vibes, and prayers to get me and my boyfriend through this.
