Someone in my family will soon be on either Abemaciclib or Faslodex - it’s for advanced breast cancer.

She has been on chemo before and said it’s safe for her to come around the kids and I’ve asked the pediatrician as well and he said it’s safe... BUT these chemos are a lot stronger and for very advanced cancers.

Is anyone familiar with these treatments and if it is truly safe for her to be around children and holding them while on it? Same goes for scans - is it safe to have scans and be around children? I do NOT NOT NOT want to put my family at risk.

I will be talking to a doctor about this as well or a medical professional.... but is anyone on here familiar with them?
