I know you’d shouldn’t look at tests out of the time frame but are evaporation lines coloured?

The line is blue and the same width as the control line in person. I know the test is way out of the time frame. When I tested the test seemed overly wet and the dye took a long time to settle and clear to a white background. Any help ladies would be appreciated is there a chance I could get a BFP or should I not get my hopes up? Been TTC for 6 months and approximately 11DPO. Thank you

Yes evap lines do have color that why not supposed to look past time frame it’s gets you’re hopes up

There's always a chance for your BFP till af shows her ugly head. I've taken too many tests to remember in my 4 YEARS of trying and some evaps absolutely do have color (and no, I didn't have a chemical with those). I've noticed it more with blue dye and equate brand. I have had some come up with color, some come up white, some show nothing but the test line. Basically, ignore anything after the timeframe given with the test.
