Am I the only one facing a major health issue?

I feel like I haven’t seen any one on this board talk about potential health issues with their babies? Am I wrong? We’re currently waiting on blood results to confirm achondroplasia, and the wait is killing me! Anyone else going through something similar?

Me! Found out my baby has tumours in the heart and confirmed diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis which id never even heard of, so our future is very uncertain. Already under a genetic and cardiac consultant as well as the general obstetrics team. Awaiting to find out if I can give birth at local hospital or if have to go to where we are being monitored. At my last scan they think they can now see lesions on the babies brain so I have to have an MRI on the 16th to see what’s going on. I only found out at 32 weeks I’m now 35weeks 2days. Praying for your baby xxx

My baby has a hole in her heart and will need open heart surgery anywhere between 3 weeks to 6 months depending on her state after shes born. Plus theres a higher chance for her to have chromosomal issues. I've seen a few other posts about babys health but they are few and far...it would be nice if there was a board for pregnancy complications and baby health issues.
Sorry that you're going through this, it's super stressful and hard when it doesn't seem like theres a great deal of support or other people going through the same issues...hopefully the test comes back negative and that baby will be super healthy and happy ❤

Nothing so much "wrong" with the baby but I've got an aging placenta, on stress tests weekly and at the last ultrasound the umbilical cord was wrapped at least once around her neck. 😔
