Bit of a stupid question really I guess but is it possible to feel your tonsils? I’ve had pain on one side of my throat for a few days and can feel that it’s inflamed, and it looks red and white. I always thought tonsils were far back in the throat but this inflamed bit is about a fingertips length behind my lower wisdom tooth- is it likely to be tonsillitis?

Can’t get to the doctor for a few days and trying to figure it out in the meantime 😫
