Can you miss a surge?

I need some help please...I was thinking my LH would surge today, but I didn’t get a positive.  It started to get dark, but my second test was pretty light...could I miss my surge even though I tested twice?  I tested at 1:30pm and 5:30.  I’ve use these before, but usually can catch my peak

Thank you.  Normally when it gets that dark it gets darker haha!  First cycle off a miscarriage and anything seems to go.

It doesn’t seem like you missed your surge. My surge usually is at CD 16-17, I have a 29- 30 day cycle.

Keep testing for the next few days. Sometimes they go light then go dark right after. If your testing twice a day you wouldn’t miss your surge. Also try a 4 hour hold before testing as sometimes your pee could be a bit diluted 
Here my tests from this cycle. Light for days then gradually darker then boom positive. Keep going, to got this 💪🏼
