I made it so clear to EVERYONE family and all DO NOT KISS MY BABIES IN THE MOUTH!!! look over and my grandmother is kissing my newborn all in her mouth.. why can’t people listen.. I know she’s family and I love her to death but people need to obey my rules on MY kids.. anyone else get pissed about this?

I will never risk my childs life because people can't learn to listen to what the parents want. I seen too many stories of babies dying because of people having HSV-1. If i see someone kiss my child they are not going to be around her till they learn to not kiss her.

Hell to the no I was so paranoid about it and still am..my daughter is 2. It's not okay ever, more so as a newborn, but also NEVER. 60% of the population has herpes in the US, so you are honestly more likely than not going to encounter someone who does carry it.

I mean I’m not about to let some random person kiss my baby one the face or mouth. But family/friends can kiss away! People usually go for the cheek anyway because he dribbles so much 😂

Yes!!! My mother in law watched my daughter one night so we could get some good sleep and she ended up sleeping over. In the morning before she left she said goodbye to her and kissed her on the mouth! I was appalled!!!! My baby was only 3 weeks at the time! If she had the audacity to kiss her in front of me, I can’t imagine how often she kissed her when she was watching her the night before! Needless to say she does not watch our child alone anymore because I truly can’t trust she won’t do it again!

Yass!! I am due in 3 weeks and made all my friends and family aware that there is absolutely NO kissing baby! If someone wants to break that rule, I will not hesitate to ask them to leave. My baby, my rules. If they don't like it, they are more than welcome to stay home. 
(Though I know my MIL is already pissed about my rules. Hahaha).

My husband and I are the ONLY people allowed to kiss our children on the mouth until they start dating. Neither of us have EVER had a cold sore or even any exposure to HSV (he’s been tested and I’ve had no other partners) so we are safe, but I don’t know anyone else’s history and I’m not gonna risk it.
