Lip tie?

Question

Does this look like a lip tie? Anyone's LO have one without a having a tongue tie? Did it affect nursing? Something doesn't quite seem right with his latch.

All 3 of my kids had lip and tongue ties. I just had my 1 month old revised at 10 days old. Fixed everything for me.

My LO had a lip tie that affected latch but she was able to nurse with a nipple shield just fine. Good luck!

My 2nd son was born with a severe upper lip tie.  Feedings weren't so bad directly post birth.  It was noted it could/would be an issue at discharge.
Latching & feeding grew more difficult about a week PP.  His Pediatrician and Lacation consultant concurred it effected latch.  He had the procedure inside office that day.  
(This diagnosis qualified insurance to pay for procedure)
I would consult Pediatrician and Lacation Nurse.

It looks like one to me. My son has one and had a TT as well. We got his tongue tie fixed and not the LT since our ENT said they normally wont correct it unless it causes problems with the teeth growing in. 
I would definitely try to talk with an IBCLC about his latch not feeling right, they would be able to help a lot. Ours was so great and helped us a ton!
