Well I’m friends with my ex and see him regularly as we run in the same circles and my current partner is completely okay with it, and they get on with each other. It would be hypocritical of me to be against my partner being friends with someone in his romantic past.
That being said, it also depends on the situation. Me and my ex have not had the smoothest history and it’s taken a lot of work to get us into the place we’re in now. But our friendship is completely platonic and there is a lot of trust and respect there between all three of us. 
Say if my partner’s ex or someone he’d slept with were still friends with him but the ‘friendship’ was inappropriate, there’d be a problem. I’d also expect them to be courteous and respectful towards be, and I’d do the same in return. But apart from that, I’d be fine with it. As long as there’s no negative impact on my relationship, he can be friends with whomever he pleases.
