Boppy lounger?! HELP!!

Question

No I know this is majorly frowned upon. But my baby boy HATES just sleeping flat in his crib. Has anybody used the boppy lounger? I am tempted but feel like a bad mom. He’s 3 weeks old and swaddled super tight so I know he can’t move, sleeps with a paci, and I have a video monitor so I can watch him/check on him and hear him easily. I just wanna be able to get a few hours of sleep 😬

We put 2 folded up recieving blankets under the bassinet mattress so that she would be on a slight incline.

Not a good idea. Positional asphyxiation only takes 60 seconds then your baby is gone. It also isn’t very noticeable when it happens. They just have to get used to sleeping flat, it may take awhile. But, a little sleep lost is better than a dead baby.

I would look up what you can use to put under the crib mattress maybe to give it a slight incline. Boppies aren’t safe for sleeping. My daughter would sleep on hers all the time if I let her😂 My daughter loves being sat up higher and she has reflux, she sleeps in a bassinet in my room still so I just put a rolled up blanket underneath the bassinet mattress and it worked. Hopefully you find something that works and get some rest!

Definitely not safe. It even says on the lounger to not use it for sleeping.

Not worth risking your baby’s life. Now is the time to try to get him used to sleeping on his back

If you are going to sleep then no.  You may have all of those things but passing in sleep baby will make no sounds.
