After a long pregnancy, I was induced at 41 weeks... they tried once with the gel and it didn’t work the first time.. after 5 hours of having the first doses of gel, I went back to the hospital, I was 1 cm dilated.. they put another gel and sent me back home for 5 more hours.. 3 hours in of waiting I felt contractions back to back maybe 1-2 minutes apart.. I waited an hour and arrived at the hospital at 2pm.. (an hour before the 5 hours) and I was 3 cm dilated so they admitted me in and put me in oxytocin. Maybe 5 hours after I was 7 cm dilated and got an epidural because I couldn’t handle the pain anymore, and ended up giving birth at 7:33 AM on the 17th of July to this beautiful bundle of joy!! ❤️❤️❤️ today he is 3 weeks and 3 days old 💛
