How are you covering your pregnancy ??

I’m 5 weeks 1 day. It’s too early to tell everyone I’m pregnant even tho I’m dying to tell the world. How are you all concealing your pregnancies? I’m so bloated plus not drinking. I went on a family lunch yesterday and everyone was asking why I wasn’t drinking and could tell they all suspected as looking at my tummy. Plus dashing to the loo lots. 🤰🏻🤷🏻‍♀️👶🏼 xx

For my first I used Welch’s light white grape juice- I would stick a small individual serving in my purse then when someone pours a glass of white wine I would hold it, then when the time was right go to the restroom and switch it out. No one noticed or knew! 😏

For the not drinking: I just said that I had decided that I only want to drink, when I’m planning on getting drunk. Alcohol isn’t particularly healthy (except for like wine) so to just drink 1/2 glasses for fun, is ‘a waste of calories’ and/or ‘my health’ 😜

I’ve been getting pretty bad constipation that leads to tummy cramping. So, my jeans still fit fine hypothetically... but when your stomach is sore and crampy, the last thing you want is jeans feeling tight. I’ve been trying to wear my dresses and tights more. 
Also ,I have the (not)luck of getting migraines that most people know about, so I use that as an excuse why I’m not drinking. Like “ugh I felt like a migraine could come on today. Better not drink.”

My friends know I love a good drink or four. They're all coming over for a barbecue next Saturday. My husband will be making us vodka sodas (hold my vodka) and I don't think they'll suspect anything... especially as they get more and more crunked.🤷🏻‍♀️

I literally opened a can of beer last night pretending i was drinking it when really  I didn’t swallow a thing . Lol kept people away from asking . Poured some out while no ones looking and no one would suspect a thing

We're telling our parents and siblings this week. I know people say it's to early but if something happens these are the very people I will want supporting me. 
We're all pretty close and there are like 5 or 6 fall birthdays, its easier than trying to make something up every time we're with them. 
They will all suspect it anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was having dinner tonight with my partner’s family, 5 weeks, waaaay too early to share the news. His auntie is visiting and brought champagne. I always have a glass of wine with my MIL. After a bit of back and forth of “oh go on, just a small glass” and me making the excuse of a bit of a headache, Auntie turned to my MIL and said “ooh, that reminds me, did I tell you Jane is finally pregnant? They’ve been trying for ages!” 
Not the topic shift I was hoping for.

I’m 5w+4d and I’m already getting bloated. It doesn’t help that morning sickness is kicking my ass. I throw up at least 1-2 times a day 🙄 I just went through a miscarriage right before this pregnancy, so of course we’re waiting to announce it. I’ve been trying to cover my weight with loose/slightly large shirts (which I usually wore anyways) and non-tight dresses. My morning sickness is a little more difficult to hide, of course, but I just try to use a bathroom away from everyone if I’m gonna puke.

I have to pee constantly and I'm already walking like a penguin because my belly is so bloated. I hope people at work remain oblivious or just too polite to ask! 😆
